THE CHALLENGE

America, one pin at a time.

  1. Recognize the landmark. Each game draws five landmarks from a collection of 1,000 US locations, with at least 10 in every state.
  2. Follow your intuition. Use up to three clues whenever you need them. Hints are free.
  3. Find your spot. Select a state, then zoom and click to place your pin. You can move it until you lock your guess.
  4. Keep it close. Your score is the straight-line distance in miles. Five distances add up to your total. The lowest score wins.

Large landmarks use a fixed reference point, shown with the answer. Washington, DC is included alongside the 50 states.
